While visiting Kenya in 2022 at a Masai Village - I noticed so many children playing with a simple rubber tire, rolling it along and I wanted to capture that. I was so excited to see this little one while visiting his Masai village. He was oblivious, running along with the cattle intent on keeping his tire rolling. I was fortunate that I captured it at just the right moment!

This is one of the 2 Image Excellence entries that enabled me to receive a Gold Medalist pin during Professional Photographers of America's 2022 #PPA International Photographic Competition. (#IPC).

IPC Gold Medalist means that two of my four merited images entered the PPA Image Excellence Collection. In 2022, they were one of only 96 Gold Medalists.

A panel of 36 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from 5,021 total submitted entries at PPA headquarters in Atlanta. Judged against a standard of excellence, 2,211 images were selected for the Merit Collection and 1,013 (roughly 20 percent) were selected for the esteemed Imaging Excellence Collection—the best of the best. The Imaging Excellence Collection images will all be published in the anticipated "Excellence Collection" book by Marathon Press.

“Life in the Fast Lane” will be on display at the upcoming Imaging USA, held January 22-24, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. Imaging USA is one of the largest annual conventions and expos for professional photographers.
